I’m an independent consultant who works with aspirational teams on strategy, systems, and storytelling.

  • Systems: organising people, processes, and technology into coherent loops that generate successful outcomes, sustainably and repeatably.

  • Storytelling: making your most important messages stick.

In previous lives, I’ve been a management consultant, chief of staff, writer, and football strategist. I use a combination of systems thinking, narrative design, and common sense to tackle a variety of business challenges.

I've spent the last decade working in consulting, tech startups, media, and sport.

I started my career with Bain & Co. in the Boston office. Over 3 years, I supported clients and diligences with aggregate market caps exceeding $100bn, covering the whole gamut: corporate strategy, private equity due diligence, advanced analytics, and operational transformations. I earned a fast-track promotion to the post-MBA role.

Leaving Boston, I jumped into London's startup scene, first joining Nested, a Series B proptech scaleup, before leaping into the audio world with Curio, a Series A startup. I

As a chief of staff, worked directly under exceptional serial founders like Matt Robinson and Govind Balakrishnan, focusing on the most pressing problems for each business. These businesses were part of startup 'mafias' and have since spawned a new generation of entrepreneurs (like my former teammates Sam & Theo, founders of Otta, and my mentor Colin, founder of Mutable Tactics).

Combined, Nested and Curio raised over £150m from Europe’s leading investors, including Balderton, Northzone, Passion, Axel Springer, Chris Anderson Molten & 500Startups. Curio’s AI product received a shoutout in Bill Gates’ newsletter.
